Cana - where Jesus performed his first miracle by turning water to wine at a wedding.
Nazareth - Christian sites of the Basilica of the Annunciation, the Greek-Orthodox St. Raphael church and Mary's Well.
Mount Tabor - with its scenic Church of the Transfiguration.
Caesarea Maritima - the magnificent port-city built by King Herod the Great. From here St. Peter went to Rome and started with his first miracles. In Caesarea's Roman theater an inscription of the Pontius Pilate is found.
Akko (Acre) - where Christian Crusaders built their most important port and the Templers "Knights Halls" provides colors and scents of the East.
Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee - many activities and places to explore including Capernaum, where Jesus spent much of his time and home of several diciples; Peters House and the famous Synagogue; Mount of the Beatitudes, where the "Sermon on the Mount" was given; The reconstructed church at Tabgha, where tradition places the miracle of the Bread and Fish; Boat tours on the Sea of Galilee; Baptismal Site on the River Jordan.
Haifa and Mount Carmel - where the Christian Carmelite monastery in which "Elijah's Cave" can be seen.
Jaffa - one of the ancient gateways to Israel. Through its' port the Cedar trees for Salomon's Temple were brought, the prophet Jonas tried to flee God, but most important: it was in Jaffa where Christianity began to be spread from Israel among the nations. Here St. Peter lived in the house of Simon the Tanner and had the "Vision of the Flesh", and here he made his first miracle by healing the little girl. Today Jaffa's renovated alley-ways attract artists from all over Israel who open their galleries here.
Ein Gedi, Dead Sea and Masada - here King Herod built a mighty fortress in the middle of the desert, the dead sea scrolls were found, and Qumeran is located - where the early days of Christianity began with John the Baptist.
