Departing Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, our tour travels via the Judean Hills to the Dead Sea - the lowest place on earth. We will drive along the shores of the Dead Sea and enjoy impressive views along the road to Masada. On arrival to the famous site, we will ascend the mountain by cable car and enjoy a guided tour of the fortress. Built by King Herod this is the place where the Jewish Zealots made their last stand against the Romans. We will explore the remains of walls, palaces, synagogue, water cisterns, mosaic floors, roman bath, and enjoy the panoramic views to the Dead Sea Valley.
After descending the mountain (by cable car) we will travel along the Dead Sea shore for a float in the salty and curative waters of the Dead Sea.
