Here are just a few places you can consider visiting on your Tel Aviv excursion:
Old Jaffa - one of the most attractive places to tour in Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Old Jaffa has been an important port town for thousands of years. Its special aromas and fragrances will enchant you: beautiful stone buildings, narrow, winding alleys, a fishermen’s port, artists’ quarters, cafés, restaurants and shops. Jaffa holds old churches, which are among the most beautiful in Israel, serving the city’s Christian community, with doors open to all visitors.
Flea Market in Jaffa - the flea market has a large variety of used goods, antiques, furniture, gifts, and much more. Located near the clock-square built by the Turks in the height of the Ottoman Empire, its the perfect place to shop for those special gifts you want to take back home.
Neve Ztedek - Neve Tzedek was the first Jewish neighbourhood to be built outside of Jaffa at the beginning of 1887. Since then it has developed into a special place that make it one of the most stylish and desirable neighbourhoods in Israel. Beautiful architecture, scattered cafes, designer shops, and a peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect place to spend a few hours.
Sheinkin Street - one of the famous symbols of Tel Aviv, Sheinkin is a shopping street, and an area for young artists, colourful characters, and hip Tel Aviv crowds. Fridays are especially lively with people from all over the country who come to enjoy the unique vibe of the area.
The Carmel Market - an experience for the senses; smelly foods, colourful clothes, and souvenirs at super low prices (especially if you know how to bargain...).
Azrieli Observatory - On the 49th floor of the highest building in Israel, the Azrieli Observatory offers amazing views of the city and the sea shore, and more. You can also enjoy a 3D adventure movie about Tel Aviv, vocal explanations about the sites, and telescopes.
Tel Aviv Promenade and Beaches - the beaches of Tel-Aviv hold the pulse of the city. Here you will find everyone: busy diplomats surfing during their lunch break, fishermen bringing in the catch of the day, people doing yoga, or just lazing in the sun. The promenade stretches for miles along the Mediterranean. Its clean pavement is bordered by palm trees and is perfect for jogging, bicycling and just going for a stroll. The Promenade is the best way to explore the city's many beaches. Each beach in Tel-Aviv has its own special atmosphere, reflected in the type of restaurants, music and sun seekers.
Tel Aviv Harbour - located on the shores of Tel Aviv, the Tel Aviv Port is a major entertainment and cultural center with many cafes, shops, art studios, and more.
Florentin - located in the south of the city, the old Florentin neighbourhood has become a hip area with cafes, shops, and artists.
Basel Area - located in the north of the city, the Basel area offers a variety of quality cafes, restaurants and shopping, and is considered to be a hang out area for the high society of Tel Aviv.
Rabin Memorial - located at the Rabin Square at the spot where the late Prime Minister was murdered in November 1995.
Hayarkon Park - larger in size than its famous American counterpart (Central Park), the Hayarkon Park also offers a large variety of activities and a bit of green space in the urban zone.
Hamedina Square - located in the old north of Tel Aviv, and one of the most famous squares in the city, this is where you will find many prestige designer shops, such as Dolce & Gabanna, Padani, and more.
